For a while now, the handbrake light seems to enjoy flicking itself on and off!
The handbrake icon comes on, and the STOP symbol flashes, the icon goes off and less than a second later, reappears, making that annoying beep come back, damn it's annoying
It seems to be completely random, too! It happens whenever and wherever it wants, but most commonly, is when cornering or going up some kind of gradient.
I thought it would be something like a plunger limit switch or something similar to indicate when the handbrake was engaged or what not.. Am I right? (complete stab in the dark, btw)
The problem seems to stop when I apply the footbrake. Weird.
I turn the ignition off and on again, it is still there. Leave it ten minutes and it seems to have forgotten about it and gone back to sleep. Gotta love Pug electronics, eh!
Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Your brake fluid is low, which means you need to change disc's and pads (or drums and shoes if you have them)
Searching is good also as this was answered less than a week ago

have you checked for the other common issues that would make the stop light come on?

Weird.
No, I haven't thought much about it really.

Quick update to this.. it wasn't the brakefluid that was the problem, got it fixed today, was the sensor itself.
