Go get it ungassed first. Then just undo the pipes going into it. IIRC. Can't fully remember though.
(Although if there is no gas in it and you are sure, then just go for it. )

I used bolt cutters
Cut the pipes (after safely removing the gas) but then again I didn't need to reuse it

you'll be fine venting that gas to air (mind the lubricant - oily substance). just do it gently.
after that just chop everything out and hope you dont want to reuse it! lol

Just accidently let the gas out, accidents do happen with bolt cutters

its being replaced by HFO 1234 in newer cars anyway

How Do I go arOund getting it out without cutting pipes?
I have all the pump and pipe work loose, just the pipes that go into car holding it in place now,

its a pain in the a**e to remove completely. engine out really then it becomes easy!

I'm in process of taking that out too lol, just wanted aircon out the way ideally without cutting it,

Got it out in two bits, undone the bolt and a tiny pfft that was it, was empty lol

Well two pipes still in car thats it as not moved them yet, but got pump rad and most of it out just the two pipes into car left ATM,
Took Two bolts to remove it, one that's on the pump and one that's on the tank attached to rad.

So you've removed the pump...have you got a shorter belt fitted now?

No I'm currently removing everything including engine ATM bit by bit, the rad I have is naff as in Pic abOve, unsure if to get short belt or to get new rad yet when it all goes back in tbh
