Hi,
I have an '05 206 Verve, the dealer said they changed the pollen filters the day before I bought it. I haven't used the air con a lot until recently with the hot weather, but it really struggles to keep the car cold, I am still too hot after 15 minutes of it on full blast.
There is a squeaky noise as soon as I turn the AC on, like when chalk makes a squeak on a chalk board only much quieter. I think this might have something to do with the problem.
Thanks for any suggestions. Service isn't for another few (hot) months!
Mike

Once the aircon is working again you need to use it at least once a week else the seals will dry out & the gas will escape
05 car, bet it hasnt been gassed since the factory.
Find your local aircon specalist & let them have a look, AVOID the main dealer! ! !

Because an aircon specalists is a better option then letting a main dealer apprentice f*** it up
2003 car not been touched, im shocked the aircon system is still actually working!

There is absolutely no gas in it since the engine swap and i dont think its been touched before then. Engine is from a 1999!

my aircon/climate control is intermittently working - sometimes works, then it squeals and stops, other times it just doesn't start at all. got it looked at and they said it would need the fan replacing and a control unit and board, and re-gassing. haven't got it done yet, just opening the windows at the moment
