pug 206 1.4glx 51 plate hi problem is the car turned over but did not fire up. my mechanic has changed ecu,bsi ignition barrel,coil pack checked its getting fuel and pressure but its still the same turns but wont fire.was wondering if the ecu etc will need reprogrammed as heard that if everything is changed dosent need reprogrammed.

What was wrong with the original BSI & engine ecu then? Changing parts like this just shouts desperation

well we tried other things and came to a conclusion that it has to be ecu etc.

What diagnostic tests have been carried out? Non plexed or multiplexed 206? Crank sensor checked? Timing belt checked? Coil pack? Spark plugs?

What about the keys? Is the chip correctly timed with the ecu?

Sounds a lot like the Polish bloke at my work, just keep changing parts till it works

took it to pug dealer for recode say they wont do it as its a different ecu,bsi thats been put in and its illegal...wtf.
