You would use your own chip in.

Yes that is the right key.
All you have to do is take the guts out of your old key along with the transponder chip and simple place in the new key. Then you will have to get the blade cut.
Very simple job to do

Each to their own, I like mine and the buyers from my 2 group buys seem to like them.

Read the listing carefully, never seen a 205 or 405 with a 2 button remote key, 205 & 405 are infra red remote aswell

Will go in one of the 2 slots in the case. To remove it from the old one is easy as it should slip out.

Once the key is cut it's a 2 minute job to swap everything over. Not knowing how long the old battery had been in for, I changed that at the same time. Next job is to get a second hand circuit board, and a new transponder from Lee then I will have a spare remote key.
BTW, I love mine, saves putting holes in your jean pockets with the key blade.
