hi there,

does anyone have any idea as to the required alternator readngs for a fully functioning alternator?

i seem be having a few intermitant issues re starting my car
whereby the needles on the speedo rise but the engine wont start...

no clicking noises and no lights flash up....

disconnecting the battery and then re-connecting seems to alleviate the problem tho.

(p.s i have a clifford alarm on there and not sure however if its this that could be affecting it re: the immobilser cut in / low battery on the alarm.... )

i know its a strange one.... wonderred if anyone else has encounterred this too?

your help will be much appreciated.
