I dont think they did, the flexi and cat were always together with the down pipe...well thats what pug told me.

My 180 had a join between the cat and the down pipe but that was because I had a de-cat made for it.
I wasnt my old 180 you had a look at was it

Warranty is only a year with longlife cats! as they don't actually "make them" they just fit / fabricate them to fit your car.

according to longlife the warrenty is valid aslong as i own the car - either way its a winner for me
