Ok, so today my 206 has started making a hissing / sucking noise from the passenger footwell when pressing the brake pedal
id been looking into it and apparently its the master brake cylinder or brake servo?
are these two parts the same thing or different lol?
why is it hissing when the brakes are still working fine.
thanks in advance for any help

I get a hissing noise from my passenger footwell, it does go away when you hit the pedal in the right way though. Would this be partly to blame for my pedal feeling not quite as hard as it used to? What exactlys wrong here?

mines not the same, i only get it when i press the pedal, sounds like its sucking in air. no noise when im not pressing the brake pedal. the servo and master cylinder are both about £70 on servicebox, i wanna make sure I get the right one replaced lol

nope thats different to mine lol, it goes away the second you stop moving the pedal, even if its fully pressed down, it only happens when you are actually moving the pedal down
