They are clipped in, so if you wrap a flat headed screw driver in a cloth and slide it under one of the sides or ends, and apply pressure it pings off. The clips are generally a b!tch to get the clips out of the don't come out with the side strip.

But thats how I did mine on the old car and worked for me.

open the door and use your hand to slide it towards the edge of the door. then use pliers to take the clips off the door, they will most likely break but buy new ones before hand anyway. they cost pennies

Peugeot / Citroen main dealer for any replacement clips, there far cheaper from a main dealer then getting them from Ebay.

They are still cheaper and you don't have to wait for delivery. They stock them.

be careful when removing the strips from the doors that the plastic bits where the white clips sit in don't break or the curved bracket at the end of the strips brake as it will be a pain in the a**e to secure

First off sorry for bumping, didn't want to create a new thread for the same question.

The only thing I've done to my 206 so far is change the CD player so I'm very new the styling side of things. My question is related to this post:

If you can slide the strips off with the door open, can you leave the clips in place and simply slide the scrips back on once colour coded.

I really liked the car when I bought it in April but I'm now really starting to dislike the black bits against the blue body look and want everything colour coded!

Thanks
