Hi all,

I bought a 1999T LX two weeks ago iv'e had the problem from day one, the hazards seam to randomly go off when they feel like it,day, night when im driving, when its locked up, the battery has flat 3 times, i had the BSI unit reset but that didn't seam to work so i took the car to a peugeot garage and they seam to think that its the hazard light switch does this seam right ?

could always try changing the hazard switch first to eliminate that

if its not that its likely to be something more expensive, buttons can be picked up for pennies on ebay

Not entirely sure but could possibly be a flat or dying battery as ive heard tht causes the electrics to go crazy.

Most likely not though

found someone else with the same problem but without an answer:

"My car can be parked all day & some times the hazard lights start flashing & the only way to stop this is to push the switch on & off & they are fine for hours ,then it will do it again please help ?????"

also my battery has been checked in a garage and its apparently all fine

Probably is the switch... get one from a scrappy. Don't pay Peugeot. Pull the top cover by the clock straight up towards the windscreen and it will come out, unplug the switch and push the 2 tabs to take the switch out.
