Need to replace my catalytic converter pipe on my 180, ive tried repairing it but its still blowing, so Im just going ot bite the bullet and replace it.

Cheapest I have seen is £280 ranging up to £1000 from Peugeot, anyone know of any better prices?

Would even be willing to find a decat pipe as I just want rid of the blowing noise, but cant seem to find any decat pipes for the 180.

this topic has been covered alot! When I thought my cat had a hole in the flexi-pipe so i set a smoke bomb off in the flexi and to my suprise it didn't have a hole and i couldn't get my head around it at all, so i just ordered a sports CAT from powerflow £180 fitted! then still had the blowing...................... so i changed my exhaust clamps and hey presto no more blowing!! try the clamps 1st Wink

Be better of finding a 2nd hand genuine Peugeot cat then wasting time, effort & money on a decat pipe.

MOT test gets a lot tougher next year Thumbs Up

Well I welded a new flexi pipe in and its worse than before, might try a new clamp then, hoping I can remove the clamp without having to drop the subframe.

Hopefully wont have the car come MOT time, so it will be someone else's problem Very Happy
