And if it's dead? And I replace the solenoid? Will the rest start working?
Probably, certainly if the passenger side remains unlocked then the others will copy it and never stay locked

How do I see if it's recieving a close now?
A close now signal? You study the wiring diagram and see which wire is the command signal wire and check if it receives a pulse when trying to lock the car

How on earth do I do that lol, I have no experience with care whatsoever lol.
Is it worth taking it to a Peugeot dealer and asking them to fix my door solenoid?

Ok so run a Peugeot dealer and ask to have a new passenger door side solenoid?
How much will that cost, do you know?
Thanks again mate.
If this does not work do you have any other suggestions?

No don't tell them what to do as they might do just that as a customer request and nothing else. Tell them the symptoms you are experiencing in the best detail you can, write it down for them and then let them decide what is wrong and fix it

It's a very common fault on all cars so it shouldn't take them long at all

Ok, from what I've read it seems like a solenoid problem too, would that explain why the doors won't unlock? And when I lock them they all bounce apart from the passengers?

I bought a 2003 model diesel 1.4 lx 206 on Wednesday from a garage in Stockport. There were several things wrong with it which I am addressing in turn.

One of which was the central locking.

Thanks to Vaughan1993, that's all sorted!

Thanks mate. Much appreciated (££££££!)

Very Happy
