Just passed my test (18) and looking to get a 206, I've set my heart on it! I'm wanting a 1.1-1.3L, nothing more, otherwise the insurance gets ridiculous - anyone on here selling one or point me in the right direction?
Looking to do a lot of interior and exterior work, got about £6,700 to spend on styling! Any websites you'd recommend?

Have a look in the for sale section mate, if you can't go any higher than a 1.3 you'll have to settle for the 1.1 as after that the 206 jumps to 1.4

£7k on styling but don't wanna spend it all for the sake of it - not looking for anything over the top, just want a debadge, debumpstrip with a smoke finish, lowered just a little with 20 spoke 17"
hope this makes sense ha

If you've got 7 grand ready to go on styling why not buy a newer better car with a small engine? I wouldn't waste that kind of money on a 206, especially not a 1.1

Sorry but furrys right, mods will put your insurance up quite a bit too when your 18, if you have that kinda money it makes sense to get a newer car

I would do some quotes before you think of even modding your first car, make sure you can offord the expensive insurance first !

I only joined the site cause i had a 206, not cause i dreamed of owning one
i say get a newer car that will be worth closer to that amount when you sell it, not buying a 4k 206 spending 3k on it and getting 2,8 for it later on.
many cars i would buy for that money other than a 206.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200...2c5eb86202
just as an example, depends on budget for car, and insurance, no bother modifying if its newer, plus it saves you lots of money

how does a 18yr old have all that money. I have a job, am 21 and dont even have enough to insure my pug permanately
Anyway, i wouldnt waste it all on a 1.1 206. Maybe get a nice 1.4, keep it nicely styled to your preference and keep the rest in savings?
