Alright my car has decided to develop a mechanical problem rather than another electrical problem. Its making a knocking noise that increases with speed although anything more than a slight adjustment in steering, acceleration or braking stops the noise. It was causing the engine to shake a lot when it was on stands.

I had a look today and I think its the driveshaft CV joint? Its hard to tell where its coming from other than the drivers side wheel. I wouldn't mind a second opinion before I start ordering parts.

These phone videos of terrible quality may be of some use.

Certainly happening every revolution of the wheel so you're on the right track with the drivetrain. As the noise changes if you just apply the footbrake or slight steering movements then it might be a wheel bearing or CV joint or even a loose brake part. CV joints tend to click loudly on full lock

I do get a loud click/clunk occasionally on full lock or when braking and going over a bump at the same time; I though that was the top mount. Probably the same thing then.

The CV joint "knock on lock" is a loud regular clicking sound especially if you are accelerating at the same time as that really loads up the joint
Is your CV joint as loose as this?
