Have noticed a knocking from the front passenger wheel which i've already been told there is play in the wheels but more recently have noticed that when driving the steering feels like the car is driving on ice, any ideas?

u have a ball joint gone by the sounds of it could be wishbone one or track rod end... causing the wheel to shift slightly as you turn.. could also be a bush i guess, or wheel bearing, but my money is on ball joint

Had the same problem a few weeks back and new track rod ends sorted it for me.

Same problem on gfs car, I thought it might be few bis but wasn't untill
I jacked it up and saw the rubbers on the wishbone were gone,
Drives like a dream now (as much a ka could ) lol
