So my car decides to have another fault, whenever i press the brakes the front lights goes on aswell which is rather worrying people may assume i am giving way to to them out in day light.
And i got warning light on my dash once again,i assume it be electric fault.
I am honestly giving up with this car with the amount of diagnostics its been and repairs.

What rear light have you got? Sounds like you have a single filament bulb in a double slot to me.

Does that actually makes a different?? It would help if the seller i bought gave me a diagram or whatever to which bulbs go into what. The bulbs on the reverse and brake are same aren't they? They are exactly identical.

The bulb on reverse and indicator are the same.
Have a look at the brake bulb and see if it has one blob of solder on the bottom. More than likely you need the bulb with 2 blobs on (said simply so it's understood)
