My 1.4 hdi (307, but all the same engine) seems to think the oil is empty on early cold mornings.
I had a service 2k ago and have checked it regularly.

But in the evenings after work, the oil is full.

Very odd, I'm guessing oil pressure sensor??

BSI needs updating more than likely. Possibly the sensor too.

Never trust it anyway, always manually check it.
