Mine was only a 1.4 but changing to the bosch super 4's my cars was abit more responsive, felt like it has more to give. Never did have an issue with the NGK's which came with the car though.

The differnce is smoother more responsive and revs up better.

It surprises me how people are surprised wot a differnce using the right spark plugs make they dont list a certain plug just for the sake off it.

And most smaller service stations don't know this and will put Ngks in your car so beware people.

When I change the plugs in the 206CC I used Super 4s and it was a lot better.

But then the plugs that came out were Peugeot branded(!) and had done around 54K miles from what we could tell. (no bills showing they had been changed)

So yes, cream-crackered!

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Is there any difference between using Super 4s and Super Plus in our 206s?

The mechanics like to collect the ends of the boxes the plugs come in to save up for the rewards out the NGK catalogue Wink

NGK spark plugs are NOT crap, there just incompatible with the phase detection system designed / built in to the 206's coil pack set up.

The NGK problem was such a rumor as you put it, PSA Peugeot / Citroen set out a technical service bulletin to the entire dealer network warning of the problems NGK spark plugs could cause when fitted.

Im really doubt peugeot care now tbh, more intrested with the info flash off doors falling off on the 207 Rolling On The Floor Laughing

There is probably 300 to 400 info-flashes (aka problems common problems, this is possibley where the NGK came up in, i would search but i cba) so i wouldnt get all hung up on just one flash tbh

It just amazing no matter how many times the NGK warning gets posted up on here & also on trade forums, people still think its just a load of rubbish Rolling Eyes

As for the 207, I drove one once, nasty piece of crap design it is, worse car ive ever driven so far!
