Does anyone know what models have these fitted?
I'm looking to buy a 206 but all the ones i have been looking at only have the PPT20 single line display?
Most of the cars that i have been looking at are 2006/2007 plate, don't know if that makes a difference?
Many Thanks in advance!!!

PPT is just the connector plug used & NOT the type / size of the display.
PPT 30 is non plexed.
PPT 40 is multiplexed.
Trip computer is easy enough to retrofit on multiplexed 206 anyway

Higher models generally have multi lines
My 1.4 8v glx had one, and that's pretty low.. would have thought it was just lx's that don't come with them

Just buy the best 206 you can find that fits your needs, dont worry about the trip computer as its a cheap simple retrofit
A 06 / 07 car would need the 3 line PPT 40 display fitting & then you just need the trip button on the end of the wiper stalk.
Some wiper stalks you can swop the end cap assembly over for the type including the button.
The other solid type you would need to change the complete com2000 unit for a version with trip button already fitted.

Yes, done it myself back in 2005 & lots more people have done the same on here to.
Its a simple cheap mod for the multiplexed 206
Some 206 might need a slight BSI tweak, mine did due to factory cd changer also being present.

You can swap it pretty easily
You will only get the functions that you car has however, for the mpg calculator you need a COMS2000 unit that supports it, and iirc a BSI update too if you swap it.
If you get a newer car (06/07 like you said) chances are the coms already supports it but just not the correct display.

I did on my 2003 206
as long as it is a multiplexed car you should be fine, on the end of the wiper stalk there is usually an end cap that pops off and can be replaced with a button that scrolls the screen on the display of the multi line trip computers, you don't have to buy the button though, if the car has automatic lights with the button on the end of the indicator stalk you can pop it out and switch them

3 line display is a good enough upgrade over the crappy 1 line version anyway
Time & outside temp displayed at same time.
Pretty picture of doors open & boot / bonnet if the sensors are fitted.
You can also play the game of how many information messages can I get to scroll on the display in turn
4 is my top score so far
ICE ALERT, FUEL LEVEL LOW, AUTOMATIC WIPING ACTIVE, PASSENGER AIRBAG DISARMED
The trip computer function is an added bonus

just to reiterate, the multiline display upgrade was one of my favourite 206 mods. doing the trip mod was a nice find, but you'll find a massive difference with the larger screen. especially if you have the original headunit.

oh and dont forget youll need a new surround for the unit, but they are pretty cheap to buy used and dont really get or show any wear seeing as they are virtually out of reach
