i may need a new mirror for my 206cc but thought it was worth trying to fix first so does anyone know how to tighten it up as when i pushed it in it was stuck and then give way now it just can be pushed very easy and wobbles a bit so wondering if it need tightening etc

Take a look at the buttom of the mirror body,there is a screw that hold it to the base,so try to tight it

There was a genuine one on eBay a week ago for £35 + delivery, that was an electric one. I got mine from a local motor factors as I was too lazy to wait, the genuine one is much more substantial and uses cast steel not all plastic, still it's lighter !
