is there an alternative to the ignition key thats always exposed ? i.e like the newer model fold away key, if you dont already have them. if i get in car and it sticks in my leg once more.... i may cry a little lol )

thanks for stepping in there pal. was about to order before you said. what do i need to know TOMD0801754. i was just gna buy them and go to a local pug dealer with my original key and ask them to do it.... so naive me lol

What key do you have?
Dont need to go to pug you can do it yourself, all you do is swap the inards from the original key to the flip key including the transponder chip. Then you will have to get the blade cut.

thankyou mikey. do i need to take my original key and the fob to pug dealer ( with my key card ) or can i get it done anywhere ? ( please excuse my ignorance )

Insides out of your current key go straight into the new fob. (Don't forget the little black transponder, or your car won't start).
Take the blank blade that comes with the new key to your local key cutting place (market stall/timpsons etc.) and ask them to cut it from your current blade. Should be under a tenner.
Job done.
