Right as my alarm seems to go off simply by someone walking within 2 ft of it I just wondered is there any way of making the alarm less sensitive?

Mine goes off whenever it feels like it. I have to turn off the interior alarm everytime.

Yes, replace the defective ultrasonic sensors.
Last time I could be bothered to log on to Service Box to check the price they where around £25 from a Peugeot / Citroen main dealer.
