Hi everyone,

I not new to the forum and have consulted it many times. Its the first time i'm posting and its out of pure desperation. My peugeot 206 1.1 keeps cutting off. I've seen many peugeot owners having the same problem and I've done some search on this forum nut did not find any workable solutions:

Things i've done:

(1). Cleaned the idle control valve
(2). Changed the fuel pump
(3). Checked and cleaned all connections to ECU.
(4). Check relay under the ECU
(5). Cleaned the crankshaft position sensor
(6). Checked the spark plugs...

I'm thinking about chaging the ignition coil and spark plugs (Bosch)

If anyone have a fix for this problem please help me.....

My cutting out was always after wet weather so I'm guessing that a sensor was getting damp and giving false readings to the ECU and causing it to cut out. May not be your problem but worth a look.

Hi,

The problem that I'm having is like that:

(1). Engine cuts off.
(2). The check engine light goes on first
(3). The other lights light up as if when u put the key to contact just before start.
(4). The i turn the key to off position.
(5). I restart the engine starts and my car runs normally.

I can drive my car normally for two days without having such problem. Then it may happen anytime.
I've done some diagnostic on several testers such as Bosch, Launch and no error reported and no fault codes. This problem is really pis... me off.

Thanks

if your problem continues try changing the idle control valve rather than cleaning it, i cleaned mine many times before i gave up and bought a new one
