My Car keeps reaching this temp when i switch my car off, does anyone what could be wrong?
Things i'v done so far
- Head gasket
- All temp realted sensors been changed
- Relay corroded connections been cleaned
Basically everything possible, i'm getting really concerned as this is the second time i'm doing the head on my car due it over heating.
I have attached a image so you guys car see

I had the same symptoms on my Wifes car, but that is the 1.4 8v, i changed the rad 'cause it was knackered, i changd the temp sensor 'cause i thought the gauge on the dash was reading incorrect, i changed the stat, i bled the system and the gauge still went up to nearly red!!
But, i've now got it to sit at 90deg when up to temp, the reason? A BLOODY MASSIVE AIR LOCK!! Dont ask me why i decided to bleed it a second time, i just did and real glad i was too. The rad was bled and only a tiny amount of air escaped, nipple above the stat was bled, same as rad, small amount of air, the real culprit was the bleed nipple on the heater hose going into the bulkhead, a luke warm heater told me all was not right, i undid the nipple completely and coolant poured out, the coolant suddenly stopped and the coolant in the resevour dropped like a stone, i quickly added coolant to the resevour and with this a mass of coolant was forced out of the bleed hole, yup, one helluva air lock!! Took car for a spirited drive, left to idle then switched off. 2hrs later coolant level is fine, heater is HOT and temp gauge reads 90deg when hot, job done. Hope this helps fella.

I'v thanged the two sensors on the engine block it self which apparently are the temp sensors.
The head has been done professionally, head skimmed, new head bolts, original gasket, the works!
I'm gonna try the air lock thingy! but i really dont think that could be it on mines but ultimately its worth a try.
Keep the replies coming because i need all the help i can get! haha
Someone told me there was a recall on the Peugeot 206 Roland Garros 1.6 AC model about the fan not kicking in but i can't find it on the internet at all.
Also my fan sometimes kicks in at 110degrees, is this normal or does that mean its over heating? Bearing in mind boiling point for water is 100degrees
Thanks a lot for your feeback!!

If there was a recall & the car had missed it then you would have had a letter from Peugeot by now.
You can always ring Peugeot customer service or a main dealer / pop in & ask if there is any recalls outstanding.

Why not just fix the relays? Much easier.

The max system pressure (controlled by your radiator cap) is 1.4 bar. At that pressure water boils at 120 deg C. despite that 110 degrees sounds a bit high - most cars I have dealt with the cooling fan kicks in at around 100 deg.
However I do not know what the operating temperature is for your fan to kick in - perhaps a more knowledgeable member will be along in a minute. Also bare in mind that your gauge may not be accurate and often aren't.
