Something is draining my car battery, so far I've had
Stater motor changed for a brand new one.
New battery, both in the last 2 days.
Alternator was also checked, and is working 100%
I have removed my stereo and auto dimming mirror, and replaced my Angel Eyes for a set of standard crystals.
There is nothing else left that I could have installed incorrectly.
But something is still draining my battery.
is there any other common problems I should have checked, the garage I took it too couldn't find anything I'm completely stumped.
My air bag light is flashing, and I have a new wire/spool/ring thing for that, but I doubt it will be that.
So I've decided that whenever I'm not using my car I'm just going to disconnect my battery for now, that won't harm the car will it?
Thanks for any info you can give me

My ashtray light has been disconnected, my glovebox doesn't have one, hasn't since I've had the car. None of the rest have been touched since I've had the car, but I'll check.

Could, say having a 20amp fuse where a 5amp fuse is supposed to go cause this?
Cause I haven't actually checked ALL the fuses.

Also, I forgot to say that this happens every couple of months.
It happened for about a week in December too, but then it was all ok until 3 days ago.
Usually after a long journey

I've had my stereo in since August, but it's draining even without it in.

get a multimeter, remove the fuse box (keeping wiring attached, just so you can access the fuse contacts), with everything off and doors locked (you will have to lock yourself in), check the amps being drawn through each fuse, you will find your drain. lookup what that fuse it, and trace the wiring for it and see if its been knocked (either near the fuse bow, near its switch or at the component), all else fails change the appropriate component.
if you have been to a garage and they didn't do that, they are incompetent.
Ive never done that before... maybe there is a reason you cant, but thats the logical way to deal with it.

My battery would go flat when I'd leave radio on and heater/air con on

How long does it take to go flat?
And how old is the battery? On the VX, despite it hardly having anything that could even drain the battery, it would go flat overnight. Replaced it and now it lasts several weeks before it needs a jump/bump start.
