right i,ve got a really bad tinny rattle coming from the rear of the car, fine on a smooth road but the slightest bump and it it sounds awful.
checked the exhaust, heatshield, rear seats, tailgate so can only think that it may be something to do with the rear suspension.new to the 206 bso could really do with some advice.
plus does anyone have a diagram or link to a site for the rear suspension,,

also might be worth looking on the rear panel inside the boot as this is where the wheel brace is stored
could be something loose in there rattling about

Read on here the sometimes the boot latch can rattle. Apparently wrapping tape around where it latches on helps it temporally

right then....took car to a tidy garage today and turns out the rattle is my axle bearings starting to give up......
cheap enough to have a second hand axle fitted but buying an axle proving a challenge...been quoted silly prices so if anyone has a gti rear axle hanging around in the swansea {ish} area...... Rolling Eyes
