My lass just informed me that this happened on her way home tonight...

Battery light came on.

Pollen _______ fault came up on the display. The gap is something she can't remember. But it wasn't filter!!

Any ideas?

Aux belt snapped or alternator not charging. Will have been anti polution fault

Maybe, could be a few things, snapped belt, bad earth. Get a multimeeter on the battery

If aux belt gone would I expect power steering to pack in? As the power steering is fine...

So new alternator?
