All,

I am looking at the Pagid Discs and Pads for my 2005 1.4 16v on Euro Car Parts.

Which ones should I get?

There are two discs different prices but look the same to me. Also two different sets of pads again different prices but no real difference?

Any help or advice will be mush apreciated.

Thanks

Is one disc vented and the other solid? Different minimum thickness if they are.

When I enter my reg, I only get the front and rear options for Pagid pads.

Part numbers might help someone answer the question or just contact ECP and ask them.

You now have the disc size, there is only one set of pads that match up with that set of discs Wink

Can anyone tell me which pads match the vented discs ( which I assume are the right ones) and explain why they match? Thanks.

I don't think vented disks will fit if the car does not have them, but I don't know about the 16V model so check.

Generally the wider the disc the thinner the pad ... so with vented discs you probably need the 18mm pads.

BUT ... v9977 is right. You can't just change from solid to vented discs as the calipers will also need to be replaced with a matching set to suit.

And if you want to save even more, try carparts4less which is actually ECP but their internet only site. if you ring them, they will advise you which are the correct discs/pads.

Or look at buypartsby.co.uk ... used them a lot for brake parts and they are very good value and branded parts.

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
