Is it me or am i having bad luck with my 206.

Right was driving today then when i put my foot down in 4th to pick up speed, My revs just erratically jump high with hardly no go at all? then on a dual carriage way doing 50 in 5th gear my 1.4 peugeot would never jump rev as quick as that its not that powerful lol i put a video in also. Sometimes it comes and goes but this time i think its staying like that.

www.youtube.com/watch?...ata_player

So hope its not major Sad

With no increase in speed surely clutch is gone. And if you keep doing that test you will also be replacing the flywheel!

No get it sorted soon. I did what you are doing on my Astra. Flywheel and clutch cost me a whole lot more than just the clutch!

Yes and possibly flywheel depending on what damage you have done. I think when you rev it like that and it slips it heats the flywheel and either scores or cracks it can't remember which. Suggest you go to a garage to get it sorted. I believe if you leave it changing or selecting any gear becomes an issue. So you could be calling for a tow home.
