okay guys installing an alarm as mine dont have one wondering if any one could give me some help
after doing a lot of looking around on the internet seems like my best place to wire the alarm into is the bsi unit instead of installing it into each unit
so my question to you all is does any one know the bsi wiring for a
peugeot 206 lx 1.9d 1998 5 door hatchback v reg

Don't go near the bsi! More than likely you'll short something, more value than the whole car probably, no Offence intended

explain i only wanna know the wire numbers so i can spur it on the alarm dont think i can cause that much damage if some one knows what wires i need to connect to surly

Without knowing which circuits you want to connect into it's a bit pointless asking people to help.
If you say what you want to connect to, I may dig out my wiring diagrams tomorrow and tell you which number wires you need to connect to.
A Haynes manual would probably be a good investment for you.
EDIT. You can cause quite a lot of damage to the BSI if something goes wrong, but it will only be like connecting at various points of the car like the horn and headlights. I understand why you want to go behind the BSI to connect up though. Just make sure you disconnect the battery first, do one wire at a time, make the connection using solder and insulate straight away with heat shrink sleeving. You shouldn't have any problems that way.

negative door input or there's a positive doorninput
negative hand brake input
positive left hazard light
positive right hazard light
positive acc
posative brake light switch
thats what i need to know folks if you dont mind

hey again guys i need your help as this is coming tomorrow and i want to get it installed the main things i want wiring in are
central locking
indercators
foot brake switch
interior light switch
ultrasonic sensors
shock sensor
and the led
i can find connections for all these the rest of the wires i need a bit of help on are as follows
the wire that goes to the ac fan i was thinking as the alarm has a votage monitor built in this could be for that reason that when the car is alarmed if the engine fan kicks on then the volts are gonna drop and this could set it off but im not sure as it says ac fan not engine fan might sounds stupid to you lot but i wanna make sure i have all the info i can
the alarm im getting is a hawk 280 pro please dont shout it down its gonna do the job i want it for and its cheap
i dont want the imobaliser as the car already has one and i dont want to install the remote engine start at the moment this may change in time if any one would be so kind as to have a look at the wiring diagram online and tell me what wires i dont need to use this would be great thanks in advanced for all help

Wait until you get the alarm and then look at the instructions. Many of them allow for the fan kicking in and give instructions on what to do if your cars fan comes on after the ignition is off.

thats the thing dont have any money atm thats why im doing it all my self iv been doing work on cars for a long time but this is my first pug and its confusing the hell outta me
i was gonna wire in the alarm to the interior light but as its a delayed light and not instant its gonna keep telling the alarm the doors are still open till the light fades so now i have to find a nother alternative which is p**sing me off as i cant for love nor life work out were the hell i can wire it too
i dont have deadlocking which is one bonus in regards to wiring in the alarm but i cant work out what wire does the door switch and if i need to wire it to each door as i dont think its a complete circuit is it each door goes back to the bsi rather than it just being all on one circuit
please help me peeps i know its gonna be a good idea to wait till tomorrow but i wanna get peoples ideas in so im not alone and can try different ways of fitting the damm thing

Guys sorry to bring this up again seem to have a problem and I can't get any volts on the drivers or passanger door contact switch open or closed doors and I need to wire the back doors in to which I'm told are split at the back of the car and should have one output from the bsi unit
Also I want to wire in the imboaliser as well weres the best place to wire the relay on the bsi unit

The relay is best wired in series with the red button in the engine bay (emergency cut-out switch) I would NOT touch anywhere else for this function tbh. You will have to make it discreet obviously.
The rear doors, does the courtesy light come-on when you open either of them?
Do the locks bounce if any of the two doors are not shut properly?
I can't remember it being split rear/front.
If you ask Monsieur BSI or Macca, they might put-up a diagram though..
