So today on the way to the scrapyard to pick up some parts to modify my car, a lorry ahead slams on for an unknown reason so did everyone else, except me, which caused me to slam on my brakes a bit late and i ploughed into the back of a Renault Megane.
Heres some pics......
Before......
After.......
So it may look real bad and me and my mates had a look over it and although we aren't mechanics, we reckon i need and new left wing, new crash bar, new bumper, new radiator and a new fan. Which if all bought from the scrap yard, it shouldn't be so bad....... What do you guys think????

How fast were you going? Did your airbags go off?

Too fast or too close to the car in front.

Sucks that you were going to the scrapyard to make your car look better, and you ended up with your car damaged...
Hope you can get it repaired as soon as possibile..!

Great admission of careless driving there.
Look forward to a massively increased premium at renewal time. You know the question "Have you had an accident in the last 5 years?"
My advice would be if you are covered fully comp, let the insurance pay you out (hopefully you had your modifications declared), if you only have TP cover, sell it as damaged repairable or break what's left of it.
