the interior light switch and lock motor are all one, I have simliar problem, checked light and light was not coming on when door was opened, changed combined lock/motor and all worked ok. If you do have to do it check wiring and plug type and there are a few different types out there.

Fit your original lock motor to the replacement door.
I get the feeling one of the lock motors is the wrong type for the car.
Mixing normal central locking & deadlocking motors together = odd faults with the central locking system.

Did you shut the catch part of the lock thats dangling so it thinks the door is shut before operating the central locking?

Reboot the BSI unit, its odd this fault has only happened since you have replaced the door.

Is this it?
1. Start the car and then turn off the engine
2. Pop the bonnet and put the drivers window down and lock all the doors (from the outside)
3. Wait 3 minutes (the bsi needs time to shut down)
4. Take off the battery terminal and wait for 15-20 seconds, then re-attatch it.
5. Lean through the drivers window and turn on the side lights (DONT OPEN THE DOORS)
6. Put key in and turn the ignition on, but not the engine
7. Hold button on key for 10 seconds.
8. Turn ignition off and try the doors - they should now work
9. Turn the engine on and off so the bsi saves the changes
tried it, didnot work...
55 plate 206, open and shut keyfob just for clarification

Again for clarification, the key in the drivers side door, when manually locking does lock the passenger door aswell, but not the boot, i cant hear drivers door or boot lock operating
