Hi all for a few days now when reversing out my drive I have noticed the rear end is creaking/clunking. Almost like a stiff spring twanging if you get what I mean.
When its been on the main road for about 5-10 mins the creaking seems to stop. Unless I start reversing slowly into a space etc. doesn't seem to make any particular noise over speed bumps.
Is this likely to be my rear axle or just the suspension settling? It has been lowered about 60mm on the rear if that makes a difference.
I hope it's only the latter.

Sounds like rear axle bearings tbh. Time to jack it up and check for play.

Don't even need to jack it up, just pull on either side of the wheel to see if you have movement

Wouldn't say I have any movement but I can hear the creak when I heave on the drivers side rear wheel with em the wheels on the ground. Will jack it up and have a proper look later.
