When remote 'unlocking' just the indicators flash so unlock with the key.
If I then remote lock the car it locks and unlocks as normal?
Same thing happens every time.
Its like the car forgets to do the central locking the first time (But flashes the the indicators)

A guy at French Connection told me there's a common fault with the 206 locking. He said the passenger door locking mechanism sometimes sticks due to lack of lubrication and when you try to remote lock/unlock the other 3 locks work then the car realises one lock hasn't worked to reverts back to it's previous state. I haven't encountered the problem first hand but he said the cure is carefully lubricate the locking mechanism so it works freely again. He said using the key works as normal but the remote locking messes up. It could be worth having a look and seeing if anything is clogging up on any of the locks inside.

Thanks for the tip.
Will strip the door card off and clean/lubricate everything.

Why would it need re-synchronization if it works ok 'after' its been unlocked with the key?

Plus it's seeing the lock / unlock signal from the remote fob as the car is remote locking & also doing the unlock flash of the indicators.
