When moving the temp dial to cold it quickly spins/flips to hot and wont stay in any variable position !!

Any Ideas,

not nice driving with heat blasting thru on nice weather like this.... Rolling Eyes

Sounds like the cable or mixer flap is jammed. Don't force it. Time to squeeze in and take a look at why the mixer valve at the other end of the cable isn't moving. You may be able to move the valve manually to at least shut off the heat and get some cool air going

cheers - still have no radio so will get a torch and have a look behind the console.

bought a pre-plex radio and still didn't bloodywork or the RF ariel fit.

Another thought if you are desparate to stop the heat until you get it fixed, if you put a clamp on one of the heater hoses close to where they go through the bulk head then you prevent heat getting to the heater and you will then have only cold air there in the cabin. Make sure the clamp is not going to damage the tubing surface though

Probably going to snow next week after our 3 days of Summer so you'll want your heater again in a hurry then Smile
