Hi guys another one for you.
The fuel lift pump doesn't seem to work. I've lifted the sea and there's no noise.
Which wires in the plug are for the pump?
I have 3 wires on the multiplying but 4connectors on socket on the top of the pump assy.
Is there a cut off switch anywhere?
Does it have a relay.
All the fuses in both boxes are ok.
Is it the wrong pump fitted?
A lot of questions sorry. I bought a Haynes manual but it doesn't cover the 1.6 110 hdi.
Thanks in advance

Easiest way to tell is disconnect a pipe at the engine and see if it pumps
Whats the fault with the car?

No fault codes stored. As far as I'm aware the lift pump works on pressure rather than vacuum.

All HDi engines work on the High Fuel Pressure,so in your case you have 3 options:
1-The High Fuel Pressure sensor located on top of the fuel Pump is faulty.
2-The High Fuel Pressure Sensor located in the engine bay close to the (Common Rail Bump) is faulty.
3-The Common Rail Bump itself is faulty,as long your lift pump is working,so you might have inner failure when it get warm.
