Hello,
I have recently purchased a 2003 Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI but only have the one key.
I'm looking at getting another key made but I was wondering, how do I find out if the car should have remote central locking?
I've heard when new they come with a remote key and a normal key (I could be wrong) and I only have the normal key.

well I believe that you should have a remote one,but a VIN will confirm this

Servicebox can tell you the spec your car would of left the factory with when you input your VIN.

Looking at your avatar you're probably not far from me. If you need a transponder and remote programming let me know. You'll need to get the security code for the var first. if it's not on a card inside the glovebox, you can get it from the dealers.
I'll try not to mention the 4-1 ass kicking you got from Team GB yesterday

Between £57.74 & £67.64 for the remote depending on which of the 4 different multiplexed 206 remote fobs's is suitable for your car.
You used to get a free key blade cut to the car as well, not sure if they still provide this.
Then you need to add on the cost of coding the remote fob & also the immobiliser chip to the car.
NOTE: A Peugeot main dealer will require to see your photo id & proof of ownership for the car ( V5C registration document ) before they will sell / supply you a remote / key / security codes!
