Just wondering if this gear knob comes off? Its the Auto version. I have been pulling so hard. Doesn't seem to budge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Well to take it out,you need to hold it firmly, and turn it clock wise, but you do that gently,so that you don't break the white plastic peace (Lock) holding it ,so when you turn it clock wise,it will come lose, and you can pull it up then, and to fit the new one,do the steps backwards :),becareful

I never did replace the knob in the end, bought a replacement but was such bad quality that it just looked awful. I have heard that Halfords have some pretty nice ones though so will be checking them out pretty soon.
