I've managed to lose my remote car key and now have had to resort to the spare key. I was hoping to purchase a new blank key fob and simply program it myself, but obviously need to know if this is possible? If so, how do I do it?

you need access to pp2000 and the security code that came with the car as you need to program the immo chip and the circuit board to the car. It's not just a case of put the key in and press a button

I had a similar problem and peugeot charge A LOT to fix it. i managed to buy a spare key on ebay and did it myself but i had the chip from my old key which meant i didn't have to do the above. I was quoted from peugeot over £200 for the whole replacement, program, code etc. It may just be worth keeping the spare, which obviously isn't as awesome as pressing a button but will save you lots of pennies!
