I stupidly managed to break one of my abs sensors whilst doing some other work on the car, this has obviously caused the abs light to show on the dash. I've ordered a new sensor but is it just case of fitting the sensor and the dash light will go out? or will it need to cleared with the software?

it will be cleared by itself,it's the only system that goes off if everything is ok
