Alright
Since I have took it to a garage to get the brakes replaced I have noticed and few things wrong.. One was the clock display not working but it now is..
The other one is to do with the drivers door.. Basically when I put the key and turn it to unlock/lock and then pull it back out the key cylinder parts comes out with it.... Even though it is still attached to the rest of the lock mechanism because it still locks/unlocks the door..
Is there anyway to fix this problem??

Sounds like you're missing the clip from the inside of the door.
917217 A wallet busting £2.35 from the dealers. If you're lucky, you'll find it rattling around inside the door when you take the door card off.
Unless you mean the innards of the barrel are coming out, then you will need a new barrel

I own a 2001 model.. From what I can tell looking at the inside of the door there is only one screw that is in the handle part to close the door.. I can't see any other screws unless I am blind... I take it the rest of the door is clip on..

Iv'e just got the door off and there is no way for me to feel right down to the bottom of the car to see if it's there.. I am wondering if there is anywhere I can buy that part today and get it today...

Use a torch and a mirror to see inside the door if your arms can't reach, you'll be able to see if anything is in the bottom. Failing that, take a picture using a camera with a flash and see if you can see the clip that way.
Easy way to drag the clip out is a magnet on a piece of string (or a purpose made pick up tool)
If you can't find it, then the dealers might have one on the shelf. Failing that, a scrap yard. AFIK, they are the same on all models and both doors.

If it's the whole unit (17 in picture) falling out of the door then it should just be the clip (20). Why it's come dislodged in the first place is anyones guess, may be broken lugs on the lock, a weak clip or someone has just not put it back on properly.
Have you found the clip in the door? If not, have you checked the back of the lock to see if it's still there. May be another problem if it is.

Rest it against the inside of the door skin so that the forks are top and bottom of the lock barrel, and push it onto the barrel. Should be straight forward as long as the skin or the barrel haven't been damaged in the past.
