What colour should the coolant be?

I googled PROCOR 3000 or REVKOGEL 107 however no results come under google shopping so what brand/make and where can I buy a small bottle of it?

Morning,

I found that Halfords sell some of the orange OAT stuff in concentrate and pre mixed.
Also, Peugeot themselves were quite competative - £13 for 2L concentrate.

Regards, Richard.

I just need to top up so 2L is a bit too much. Is there anything smaller than 2L?

They sold it by the litre, so you could just buy 1L.

Since it's the summer i'd just top up with water, it's a 3 - 4L cooling system 300ml is only 10% or so.
It would still make the coolant mix okay in my opinion. If it needs topping up often then i'd think about buying some pre mix stuff.

Regards, Richard.

If it needs topping up often, I'd be thinking about finding the reason it's disappearing.

Is it okay to put pink/red antifreeze mixed with current orange antifreeze?

I checked the Halfords bottle and it has pink/red packaging. You sure this bottle is orange?

I can see my existing coolant is orange like colour.

You saying I can use any OAT coolant regardless what colour it is whether its pink, purple, red, green, blue etc. and it be compatible with my car and wont cause any conflicts if I top it up with a different colour to the existing orange?

Update:

I found a brand new bottle of this ready mixed coolant in the shed:

www.amazon.co.uk/Comma...eady+mixed

The liquid is pinkish.

Can anyone can confirm finally after 3 months of waiting for answers that there will be no problems when I top up my existing orange coolant with the above bottle?

Ok many thanks I shall top up my existing orange coolant with this pinkish coolant. I just though mixing different colour coolants is wrong hence I want to make sure.

Colour is not a consistent indicator of type across the industry.

Orange from brand A might [or not] be compatible with orange from brand B.
And likewise, that coolant from two different brands have different colours does not necessarily mean they are incompatible.
