Hello,
So yesterday whilst driving the engine management light came on and now when I start the car it says anti pollution fault.
Guessing this could be a few things.
Has anyone ever brought a fault code reader off ebay? They seem cheep, would this help me pin point the problem?
Cheers, Jon.

What year is your car and petrol or diesel? That determines the change to EOBD and most 'standard' diagnostic systems. Before that Peugeot were able to create a hybrid system ...
Don't be fooled into thinking an OBD-II system will work either ...
To be honest I paid over £200 for a Sealey Peugeot specific code reader and it still doesn't do everything on our two206s.
PP2000 with the Lexia-3 interface on a laptop is your best bet.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
