Hi, I'm quite new to 206's I've had a 2.0 quicksilver hdi for just over a month now and done a few little bits to it (just going for the subtle look) like debadged boot, wind deflectors, led bulbs, remove the door pillar stickers. I've seen 206's with black headlights, I'm just wondering whether these have been painted or made like this? And do they have a specific name? Cheers

They have been modded by the owner.
I think they call it masking as all you do is spray part of the headlight black

Welcome to the forum!
They're called 'masked headlights'.
people have split the lenses away and removed the chrome inserts and sprayed them.
They are quite sort after as splitting them is a pain in the back side, not to mention half of them suffer from condensation issues due not being re-sealed correctly.

Thanks for the replies, might give it a go with a spare pair. Are they still legal? Thanks

100% legal, just remember it's the chrome insert that is sprayed, nothing else.

Don't even have to be black
IIRC the original Valeo ones came in black, blue and gold.

That's different! Never seen anyone cc them before, with my car being silver it would probably be pointless. If I can get hold of some black ones I'll be happy
