Hi, i have a peugeot 206 1.4 petrol 1999,
the speedo has stopped working, can anyone
help with the problem please,

Does the odometer still clock up the miles? Does the interior light flash and beep if you drive with the door open slightly?

The interior does flash and bleeps with door open,
i can not make out mileage not illuminated.

If it flashes that suggests the ECU is getting a speed signal from the gearbox speed sender. Chances are it's a speedo problem. Fix the display though to check. I see no reason for the odometer to not be working.

OK i will check the display and get back to you if i may, thank you for your help, adran.
I took the plastic cover off the display unit and moved the speedo arm just a little took the car for a spin the speedo and mileage seems to work fine, (it must have stuck on zero) i also replaced the milometer bulb, thanks for all your help, it also might help others with the same problem, adran.
