Well I just spent as mush of the day as possible cleaning up the 206 and I reckon she looks pretty tasty Razz

Only managed to wax the bonnet before it started to bloody rain though!

Have a list of stuff i've got planned and should hopefully start getting some mods on payday/insurance renewal at the end of this month Very Happy

Plan on a carbon look bonnet intake, black angel eyes and smoked M3 rears look wise.
Also want to debadge, and spray the front and rear lions gloss black!
Think the rest of it will stay standard tbh!

"performance" wise, planning a set of coilovers but only want the car dropped around 30-40mm so i'm not sure whats best yet.
Induction kit is going on almost immediately, and looking for a performance cat back exhaust too!

Oh and if anyone would be kind enough to make me a sig i'd be realy grateful!

If you're only going to drop it 30-40mm, why do you want coilies?

I've done mine today, snow foamed, washed, clayed, snow foamed, washed, polished, waxed one side and it threw it down, waited til it stopped waxed all of it bar the rear end and it rained again.....

well yeah.. thats why I said i'm not sure what will be best lol. I suppose if I got coilovers and wanted to go lower... I could lol.

Need to get one of those foam lance things, would save a whole lot of effort!

Tis getting clayed next time I wash it though Smile

Well my 1st mod arrived early this morning Very Happy

Looks rather tidy for the price, went for a green filter too which i'm glad about. The raceland one looks fairly restrictive and small in comparison!

I've also got a new lion for the front which i'm spraying black when I get chance!

Hopefully next month or 2 should see the car being dropped by 50mm or so which should be nice!

I had that induction kit, but sent it back because it didnt fit and came with a few pieces missing. Have you got it on yet?

not yet... done a trial fitting though.. sort of layed everything out over the engine and can't see why it wouldn't fit!

What didn't fit on yours so I can check?

All the parts seem to be there!

Dammit I see what you mean now... the alu pipe will fowl on the battery/battery tray and the induction cover is going to fowl on pipes and cover my dipstick.

What an a**e! Sad

Bit of a bummer isnt it! I presume you have the long thin airbox? As the xsi has a square one like the gti, and has a bit of a bigger gap between rocker cover and battery.

I assume so yeah... Had asked on here a few times but most people seemed to think that the sizes etc were the same Sad

WHY DIDN"T YOU TELL ME!! haha.

Did you get an induction kit then or just a filter?

Been a while... lol.

Never did manage to fit an induction kit, eventually went for a k+n replacement panel filter!

Everything else is still standard atm, any funds I did have were taken by me moving to Cardiff a while back!

Anyways, quick pic after a blast round the awesome roads in the breacon beacons!

Wow... was it really 2011 when I last updated this?
Nothing happened on the car as its been the last of my priorities for the past 2.5 years! Moved house, got engaged, moved house again... urgh!

Anyway, car is same as... just a dent on the front drivers quarter thanks to a white van man reversing into my car while parked. Pushed most of it out but will get a new wing at some point.

Anyway, got back into playing about with the car after selling a bike... Induction kit has now been purchased!

A catback is next and then its on to sort the suspension and brakes while tiding up the bodywork again.

Been looking at some catcams and a C2 VTS intake mani, but thats just thoughts for the time being!

Cheers! Engine bay needs a tidy up but in this weather there is no point!
Kn came with a drycharger (basically a jacket for the filter) as it hangs quite low in the car and can/could get wet. Checked it today after a bit of damp driving and its worked nicely, filter is bone dry but the drycharger had a few specs of water on it!

Today I started swapping the interior. A bolt sheared on the drivers seat and felt unsafe so I picked up a nice condition gti half leather interior off eBay.

Got the seats in, but it started chucking it down So I didnt get round to doing the doorcards.
Poor pic but it gives an idea... feels a bit more supportive than the old sport interior.

Exhaust next.

New tyres fitted this morning, got some Uniroyal Rainsport 3's.

Only had them on for about 5 miles and they already seem better than anything I've had before (Proxes, Parada etc), apparently they get better when scrubbed in an they're incredibly quiet.

Off for a drive over the Brecon Beacons now to give them a workout..

Quick spin over to the beach at the weekend, still enjoying the lanes in the pug.

MOT soon, then exhaust time. Not sure if I should go the whole hog and get a 4-2-1, sports cat and cat back or just the cat back for now!

I'm an indecisive bugger, thats why.. ha!

I've been toying between suspension and exhaust for a long while. I did try and find someone to do the suspension last year, but couldn't find anyone local that would do a good price with the work I wanted. I think KAM Racing or PUG1OFF are just about close enough if the price is right though.

Anyway, my exhaust it rotten, so its pretty much "forced" me to get it done. I just hope it goes through the MOT as it doesn't look like I can get booked in beforehand.

EDIT: I do also need a front wing. Some c**t bumped it in a carpark and drove off. Pushed most of it out, but in some light it looks like its got cellulite lol.

1st toys:

Although, my mate has a Celica GT4 lightweight and so I've been getting into the rally "scene" a bit more, so the pug is becoming a bit more fun to work on!
