#1: FAQ: Can I check my MOT History online? Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Fri Jan 29, 2010 3:40 am ---- Sure you can, by using the motinfo.gov.uk Website.
You will need the following:
The vehicle's registration number.
And the MOT Test Number from one of the folowing documents: VT20 - MOT Test Certificate, or VT30 - Refusal of an MOT certificate (failure notice), or
The Document Reference Number from the V5C Registration Certificate issued by the DVLA.
It will show you:
Details about each of the tests for the vehicle recorded on MOT Computerisation.
This includes the result (pass or fail) and the vehicle's recorded mileage at the time of the test.
If the vehicle failed a test, the history will include the reasons why it failed.
