I managed to cut out the part of the fuel pipe that was damaged and slide a new, bigger piece of pipe over the two remaining ends....secured with a jubilee clip either side et voila! Perfect!
Gave the ICV a good scrub out with some wd40 and an old toothbrush...genius.
Car is running much better now and no cutting out issues!! thanks very much!
