WOW! Nice work so far. What engine are you gonna stick in there? What will be the base for the engine?

Like the thread, but as i said before on the previous Info

Im still not sure on the safety factor of aftermarket welding Confused

Who knows it could be brilliant, but it could be utter rubbish

Good luck Smile

This project hasnt been touched in nearly 12 months due to work and other committments,This has to be the longest running rallycar built ever Very Happy
but i got some time to dust it off and get few bits done in last few weeks
there was a lot of work cutting & modifing to get fiberglass front wings and bumper to fit
eventually i got it fitted ok,so started on making wiring looms you can see from pics the loom was just a ball of wires
so i just cut all required connections from orignal loom and cut the wires as i need them from the loom(Bit of recycling Very Happy ) even though i used the wiring and connections from orignal loom when i was finished making the loom i still had a awful lot of orignal wiring left over, so im pretty happy with decision to make a custom loom and the result as every bit of excess weight removed is a good job Smile
I really hope i can get the time to keep working on this and get it finished
plan is to fit engine and make looms for throttle boddies & ignition then remove engine for full rebuild and tape up all the loom anyway enuf with the chat heres the pics

Pic of the front mocked up

This is what i had left over from orignal loom

Is that a genuine Dimma kit?

I would love to fit this kit but from past experence I seem to hit a lot of stuff and all that work to move the wheels out is far too complicated for me.

Yep ecu has a base map id be guessing it one of the maps he started with on your car tbh i have the ecu and tb's 12mths or so i think the V3 is nearly obsolete at this stage

I think it was you who posted a link to the dash in your orignal build thread Razz

Glad it helped..... one thing to make sure of is the earthing... I had an issue with the coil drivers going pop because the main earth points were not good enough and it earthed thru the drivers and knocked em out. The Acer is a good bit of kit... you can get the rev limiter and shift light to calibrate with the ECU software and it is more than good enough for rally work.... bit bright at night though
