oh lol somebody doesn't know about 206's xD
no matter what wishbones you put on the 206 eats them with admirable gusto everytime.
especially when you have the heavier motors in, my 206 loved the wish bones i got put in a year down the line and it had destroyed two!
but aslo when people say they dont have time then they just don't. i'm a heavy machinery mechanic and i can easily do my wishbones, but i put the old girl into a garage as with being at work constantly or doing something else i physically couldn't get round to it (not having a 2 post lift didn't help either )
some mechanic you must be.iam far from being a mechanic but by doing the job myself could easily change both wishbones in about 1 hour, without the aid of 2 post lift.
wow do you even know what a heavy machinery mechanic is? or has daddy not allowed your private tutor to tell of such things? a heavy machinery mechanic such as myself works on the likes of 40 ton excavators and bulldozers and i assure you none of these things have wishbones so pardon me for not being so accustomed to such work, not everyone is minted and can afford everything from the dealer. Working on wishbones on the floor is dangerous as the puling and riving you have to do could easily knock the car off the stands. Any wishbones i did on escort vans at work were a piece of pe on a two post lift with my airgun.
i suggest you quit whatever stupid job your doing and get a job as a mechanic then cause you'd make a fortune from changing parts on cars if you can do it that fast. Last edited by ExoVyper on Tue Jul 27, 2010 5:45 am; edited 1 time in total

the drive shaft is one nut,and i was allowing for that in my estimated time, granted i struggled the first time i did this job,but like i said iam far from a qualified mechanic.i stand by my statement of 1hour give or take a few mins.as for not budging one smack of 4 pound club hammer = seconds.the drive shaft does not have to be removed.
someone must've done it before you then smearing it with copper grease and then putting it back together for you to have a go cause im sorry in real life such things don't happen so easy

But it seems, everytime you post, your setting out to antagonise people. Why?

Your right. Woops. But honestly, every single post I've seen from him always tends to draw an arguement. And this is the 2nd time I've seen him talking about his class. I'm just curious...!
